Robert has deep rooted experience of working closely with many owner-managed businesses. These range from £30,000 turnover start-ups to a £20 million turnover household name. Recent projects Robert has been involved with include the successful sale of a specialist engineering company, due diligence to support the acquisition of an electronics business, restructuring of a manufacturing group, and a share reorganisation of a family owned import business. Blessed with a larger than average pair of ears, Robert likes to use them.

Outside work:
Robert's enthusiasms are his wife and two sons, Newcastle United, Wine, North American Indians and when he has his anorak on, Railways.

Position: Payroll & Employment Administrator

Experience & specialisms:
Specialist Subjects - All aspects of payroll and personnel issues and accounts administration. Landers are an approved BACS Bureau and process client payrolls direct to BACS. Angela is responsible for running the BACS Payroll Bureau Service at Landers plus other client payrolls which are fully managed. There is a high level of contact with these clients and whenever necessary their staff. The degree of help and advice relating to personnel issues and statutory regulations regarding holiday entitlements, sick pay and absence, maternity leave etc increases daily, as more and more legislation is introduced into employment law.

Susan joined Landers in March 2008 having previously worked here in a temporary capacity. She has gained a great amount of general tax experience working for several small and medium sized accountancy practices. She originally worked in the Inland Revenue before moving to a national firm of accountants where she obtained her qualifications.
